Senior sessions are always special—but they’re extra meaningful when they reflect who a senior truly is. Matthew’s session was a perfect example of that. We took his Class of 2026 senior photos at the Fairview Golf Course, a place that already held so much meaning for him.
Matthew is a student at Lower Dauphin High School and a member of the golf team, so choosing a golf course just made sense. Instead of forcing a trendy backdrop or something that didn’t feel like him, we leaned into his world—green fairways, wide-open skies, and his golf clubs right by his side.
And honestly? This is why I love senior sessions so much.
When seniors bring their hobbies, passions, or meaningful locations into their photos, the images instantly feel more personal. These aren’t just photos for a yearbook or graduation announcement—they’re a snapshot of who you were right now, in this in-between season of becoming.
Matthew was relaxed, confident, and totally himself. We captured a mix of classic portraits and more laid-back moments that showed his personality and dedication to the sport he’s spent so much time perfecting. Years from now, these photos won’t just remind him what he looked like—they’ll remind him how it felt to stand on the edge of everything new.
That’s the magic of choosing a location that matters.
Seniors (and parents) — if you’re planning photos, think about what feels like you. A sport, a favorite place, a passion you’ve poured years into. Those details are what turn senior photos into memories you’ll actually feel something when you look back on.
