Why the golden hour, you ask? It's simple –– during this time, the light in the sky is at its softest, dreamiest, and most flattering. The warm hues of the setting sun cast a golden glow that adds a touch of magic to every photograph. It's the perfect backdrop for creating stunning, natural-looking images that stand the test of time.
To help plan your session, I recommend using a sunset calculator to determine the scheduled sunset for your chosen date and location. Subtract an hour to find your approximate session start time. Keep in mind that sunset times vary throughout the year, so be mindful of the season when scheduling, especially if you have young children with specific schedules or if you need to coordinate with work commitments.
