To my sweet little honey girl,
Here I sit, on the eve of your first birthday, and I can't even believe how fast this year has gone! I've had a lot of feelings about the fast approach of your first birthday. Tomorrow, you will wake up and be a toddler. My sweet baby girl.
You are a light in the life of everyone you meet! I know every parent says this, but you have completely changed our lives in the best possible way.
You are joyful, brave, daring, compassionate, funny, determined, loving, and so much more. You're all the things I wish I was, the very best (and better) parts of your father and me. I pray that you keep taking on life's challenges the way you've handled them this year. Nothing can stop you!
Our first year of parenthood wasn't without it's share of challenges (as for any new parent) but you have made everything so easy for us! We continue to learn from you each and every day. We are so blessed to have you in our lives.
All I can really say is that you are so loved and we want all the best things in life for you. We thank God every day for putting you in our lives.
