We had our intake appointment tonight.

Going in, we were hoping to get positive results of growth and we were not disappointed!

We spent the first 30-45 minutes answering questions about family history and personal habits. We decided on a workout routine for me to get started on. And then we went to meet with a midwife.

I got my blood pressure taken and a couple more questions. Then we got to hear the babies heartbeat on the doppler! She said the baby was hard to find at first and then she found him/her camped out right on top of my bladder (no wonder I have to pee all the time!).

It was a nice strong heartbeat at 155 bpm.

We have our next appointment on March 18th and then our anatomy scan the day after Easter! We're so excited to see our little baby on camera again looking like a real human.

We're having a "surprise birthday party" for me on Saturday with all of our closest friends and family where we will actually flip the surprise on them and make our announcement! It's getting a little hard to hide this growing baby so this is the perfect opportunity!
