When I think about Gracie’s session, one word comes to mind: radiant. ✨

Gracie is graduating with the Class of 2025, and I’m pretty sure she’s about to take the world by storm. This fall, she’s heading to William and Mary to play field hockey (go, Gracie!!), and somehow, between training, schoolwork, and about a dozen hobbies, she still made time to absolutely shine during her senior photos.
She chose the most magical location for her session — a private greenhouse — and it could not have been more her. Full of light, warmth, and a little bit of whimsy, just like Gracie herself. 🌿
During our time together, I got to hear about all the things she loves: running, reading, playing field hockey, crafting, singing in her a cappella choir — and get this — she even learned to tap dance this year for her school musical! (I told you, she’s amazing.)
And because no session is complete without a few personal touches, Gracie brought along her two adorable mini goldendoodles, who added a little playful chaos to the beginning of our session. 🐾 Who can resist a good puppy snuggle? Not me!
Gracie made sure her wardrobe reflected who she is. She's known around school for her love of cozy sweaters, so of course, she had to rock one for a few shots. (Honestly, it just made the whole session feel even more her.) But the real show-stopper? Her "wow" outfit: a stunning burnt orange dress paired with gold jewelry — colors chosen just for her after she and her mom had their colors professionally done with House of Color.
And let me tell you... finding the colors that truly complement you makes such a difference. Gracie absolutely glowed in that dress. It brought out the warmth in her smile and made every photo look like it belonged on the cover of a magazine.
Oh, and quick fun update — I recently added a pop-up changing tent to my session gear, and it was a total game-changer for outfit swaps during Gracie’s session! No more stressing about quick changes in the car. 🙌
Gracie, it was such a joy to spend time with you and your family. You are sweet, genuine, and so full of light. I can't wait to see everything you accomplish in this next chapter — and I have no doubt you’re going to make just as big an impact at William and Mary as you have everywhere else you’ve been.
If you’re planning your senior session and want it to feel so perfectly you, let’s chat! Sessions are already filling up for the Class of 2026! (And don’t forget: finding your signature color? Totally worth it. 😉)
