Raise your hand if you’re afraid of color! If you are, it’s okay. A lot of people are not sure how to incorporate color into their wardrobes. You've seen the current aesthetic, right? It's been called Coastal Grandma chic or as I love to hear it called, Sad Beige.
Having a light and bright neutral home is one thing, but I love when someone's clothing shows off their personality. So if you're afraid of color or you really love Sad Beige - let me help you with some earth tones that can add a little visual interest to your photos without taking you too far out of your comfort zone. Are you with me?
Sad Beige is a lot like a canvas sitting at the store, waiting to be painted. Let's take some inspiration from nature and paint with the colors of the wind. You see what I did there? Hehe.
BEACH
sand, pale yellow, coral pink, shades of aqua
MOUNTAINS
dark teal, crystal blue, clay red, spring green, purple mountain heather
FOREST
hunter green, dark umber, navy blue
DESERT
clay red, burnt orange, dark camel, mustard yellow, majestic purple
And, as always, I'm happy to look at photos of your outfit choices and help you narrow down what will look the best on camera.
If you love color as much as me, check out my seasonal blog posts. I also have lot of outfit examples on my Client Styling Board on Pinterest and my Amazon shopping list.
All of the images are from Pinterest and do not belong to me.
