Looking Back on 2025: What Family Photos Taught Me About This Year

Every December, I scroll through the images we’ve made together—each session, each family, each fleeting little moment we managed to freeze in time. And every single year, I cry.
Not because I’m sad…
But because these photos tell the real story of the year.
They hold the laughter, the chaos, the growth.
The snuggles and sillies. The subtle ways your babies grew. The quiet ways you showed up for them, over and over again.
This year taught me (again) that family photos are more than just keepsakes.
They are reminders—of how deeply you love, how much you’ve overcome, and how your life is more beautiful than you think (even when it's messy).
To every family who trusted me to tell a piece of your story:
Thank you.
You’ve made this year unforgettable.
And if you're already looking ahead to next year, wondering how to keep showing up in the chaos…
👉 This post is for you. (Hint: it’s your gentle permission slip to be in the frame, messy hair and all.)
