Linda reached out to me and asked if she would be able to purchase a session for her mom for Mother's Day. I thought it was a fantastic idea! Does anyone else struggle with what to buy your parents for holidays? I know I do. They already have everything and if they want something, they just go out and get it. I think most parents need that extra nudge to be in photos but we cherish those memories so much!
We decided to meet up at the beautiful Marietta Furnace. The lush greenery and stone structures are always such a beautiful juxtaposition. Linda's kids were so sweet and full of life. And I feel so honored to be a part of this memory for them!
To quote Linda, "My how time flies. With our busy day to day lives, sometimes we forget to slow down and look around us. Looking at these photos, I see familial love, but I also see the inevitable aspect of life. I've realized how much my parents have aged. We can't stop the clock, but we can slow down and just enjoy the moment. BE in the moment. I will forever cherish these photos because the truth is, our memory will eventually fail us but these photos will survive beyond us."
