As a family photographer, every session brings its own unique blend of warmth, joy, and tender moments. For my first session of 2024, I had the privilege of capturing the beauty of new life with baby Leona at Esbenshade's Garden Center in Lititz, PA. Accompanied by her loving parents and energetic big brother, Cyrus, Leona's session was a delightful celebration of family and love.
At just one and a half weeks old, Leona exuded a serene calmness that was truly captivating. Nestled in the loving embrace of her mom and dad, she radiated peace and contentment throughout our time together. Meanwhile, Cyrus, the spirited almost two-year-old, brought boundless energy and excitement to the session as he explored the greenhouse, filling his wheelbarrow with plants and delighting in the simple joy of popping bubbles.
The setting couldn't have been more perfect—a sunlit morning bathed in the soft glow of Esbenshade's Garden Center, providing both a beautiful backdrop and a cozy haven from the chilly winter air. As I captured precious moments of Leona with her family, I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of parenthood and the unbreakable bond between siblings.
One of the highlights of the session was incorporating Mom's signature color, red, into the photos—a personal touch that added an extra layer of meaning and significance to the images. It's these small details that make each session truly unique and special.
I had the pleasure of being connected with the Davidsons through an old classmate, who is a close friend of theirs. Learning more about their journey and witnessing the love and joy that filled their family was truly inspiring. Baby Leona was born on January 24th at 9:26 PM, and as her mom lovingly describes her, she is the (mostly) peaceful lioness—a fitting nickname for such a sweet and serene little soul.
Working with the Davidson family was an absolute joy. Their warmth, love, and genuine spirit made it a pleasure to serve them and capture the precious moments of this very special season of life.
